In my PJ's at 4pm - terrible! Actually I got up very early (for me), and went to do a table top sale where I took the grand sum total of £3.40 - that was worth it then! Got home feeling deflated, had a tuna sandwich and cup of tea and felt much better, then slobbed into the nightwear and am now watching the Simpsons...a good Sunday after all! Its the episode where Homer invents the Flaming Homer and Moe steals it...classic.
Will update later as I'm sure my Sunday is fascinating to all of you who never look at this blog!

Just a quick blog.
Hi all, bit early for me but I am at a loose end so thought I'd jot a note down. I have been listing more books on my web shop Rehome-a-Book.co.uk but keep getting timed out, not sure what that means but it is highly annoying so I shall return to it later! In the meantime there is always the ironing...boooo. Hope you are all having a good day out there.
Peace out.
Peace out.

Snowy Wales.
Hi all, had a lovely day in the hills surrounded by gently falling snow - it wasn't cold enough for it to stick so the roads were fine, but it was so pretty to be amongst. An otherwise grey day turned into something quite magical. Tomorrow I am accompanying my other half to Birmingham airport so he can drop his folks off - not quite the same but we will have a change of scene if nothing else!
Anyway, on with work. Started web shops for both of my businesses so they need to be populated now before I can sell stuff. It is a shame to take the attention away from eBay - it has served me fairly well over the years but the rising fees, charges and commissions are forcing people away...greedy eBay!
Later folks. X

George.
It is a year today that my beloved ferret George passed. Although I know he is still with me I miss him physically - his face, his fur and his chuckle. This is the sad thing about having animals, they are gone too soon and we miss them. See you in my dreams Georgie.

Messed up!
Hi all, I am up and awake which is normal for this time of day but hardly slept last night - a drawback of being nocturnal is that when you have to attend a daytime event like the funeral I went to yesterday, it messes up one's sleep patterns. It was a nice day regardless of the circumstances though, we saw Bill off well and the cremation ceremony was very free and relaxed which makes a change from the usual orderly approach. His wife and our dear family friend did all the talking which I admire her for and we had a laugh and joke as he would have wanted. We got home at a very reasonable time - around 7pm, watched a film and dozed really. I watched the Winter Olympic coverage throughout the night but snoozed on and off as sleep caught up with me. I'll be back to normal now I think!
Anyway, I shall pop back later!

Hi all.
Morning/evening to you all wherever you are on the planet, checking in for another post finally. I am very excited about the Winter Olympics and have been avidly watching on the BBC website thing, loved the bumpy skiing today - made my knees hurt just looking at them! Well done team USA though for a gold and bronze.
We went to see 'Up In The Air' today starring the lovely George Clooney and I really enjoyed it, possibly as there is a part of me that would like to live that anonymous jet-set lifestyle, although truthfully it would probably be fine for like a week or so then I would miss my bed and houseplants! Anyway, a jolly good watch nonetheless and highly recommended.
Anyway, I shall sign off for a bit - cooking pasta then doing ironing - thrilling news for a blog I know but it's a window into my world. Got a funeral tomorrow of a very close family friend so must make sure we are wrinkle-free.
Catch you later peeps.

2.30am
It's roughly 2.30am and I am watching Stargate SG-1 which is always fun. It has been a beautiful afternoon and evening here, misty but also sunny which led to a rather eerie light that you only get in winter. Had a really lazy day too - telly, slobby clothes and lots of tea - no excuse needed, we just didn't need to go anywhere or do anything! Anyway, I shall now do some work, check the emails etc.
Goodnight all.
