Wierd weather.

Ok so 'tomorrow' may have been a bit ambitious....but I'm here now! We have had a really odd day weather-wise, mixes of sun, blue skies, rain, sleet and snow in no particular order. The snow was blizzardy and it went very cold but it was thrilling at the same time, how the world's appearance can change so drastically in the space of 15 minutes or so. Nature is amazing.

It is also the full moon tonight and its a beauty. With the snow on the ground and rooftops it is reflecting the moonlight so well and gives a wonderful glow to everything. Goning to be looking out of the window a lot tonight!
Peace out.

Finally!

Shamefully I haven't posted for ages - the usual excuses, busy, work, weather, blah. However I am back!

We had the most beautiful sunset this evening (the end of the day for most but more like the start for me) and the whole sky was purple - a beautiful soft colour and a real treat. I was so grateful as I had to go to the dentist this afternoon - just routine but I hate it, the sunset calmed me and now I feel better.

I have a follower! Hello to you and thanks.

Anyway all, I shall post again tomorrow - maybe about another glorious sky....
Peace.

Sunday.

Just a nice day really. We tidied the flat this morning as we had some friends coming round and Eddie ferret had great fun playing with the broom - sweeping is fun apparently! Later our friends arrived with their dog and she had had a lovely time playing in the snow then explored out flat, luckily I had a spare doggie-chew which I gladly gave to her.

This evening we watched Forrest Gump. A film I have seen a thousand times but find inspirational every time. Take your opportunities I guess, I must try to do this. There was more snow tonight too - it stuck but I don't know how much more we'll get. Some I hope.

Snow.

I have been to visit my best friends this evening and had one of the best walks home ever. We have snow, between the time I got there and the time I left it had snowed about another inch and except for the crunch beneath my wellies there was no sound, no people, no cars and I loved it. It is times like this when the power and beauty of nature astounds me and I am greatful for it. Everything seems lighter at night with snow on the ground and rooftops, the moon and streetlight is reflected and there is a night time glow that you never get at any other time. Stunning.

I got home at around 11.15pm, put the dustbins out ready for morning and made a mug of ginger and lemon tea with a dash of honey for me and my other half, then had our ferret out for his late night play time - he's great, everything is a toy but tonight he was more interested in food and getting back to bed - can't blame him at all. It is so cold, we have had ice on the inside of our windows every morning for about a two weeks now. I think I will get to bed myself if only to keep warm, I did some work earlier on so don't feel too guilty!

Here's to the winter wonderland.
Peace all.

New Year.

Well Christmas has been and gone - or rather Yule if you are Pagan like me, and we are into a new year. The last one ended with a friend of mine in hospital with appendicitis which was horrible, he is home now though and will hopefully feel better soon.

As always I have reflected on the past year, the people and animals who are no longer physically here but have transcended into the spirit life and are with us still, the events of the year and things I've done. Not many resolutions, but I endeavour to grow my businesses and make more money! Also to not be used by people so much, keep with the genuine ones and not put myself in the path of negativity in that way. Here's hoping anyway. What will 2010 bring? Whatever it is I shall note it here!
Blessings for the new year all - keep safe.
