Tremors

Just watched it for like the 300th time, I can recite it backwards but it is always watchable...perfect Friday night viewing!

The 'gum' is far less swelly and is on the mend I am glad to say, a bit of patience and Ibuprofen...s'all good. Anyway, I have a friend back home for the weekend so will be able to talk with her more easily tomorrow, it's always a good natter when she arrives so I am looking forward to coffee, wine or a mix of both! Have you got any plans for the weekend bloggers?

Sore gum

I have one - but actually quite like it, it's one of those pains that is more of a feeling and I can't leave it alone, keep on tonging it...must take an ibuprofen or something so it can get some rest!

Had an amazing weekend at the Festival at the Edge where I was with my business Rehome-a-Book.co.uk, we sold some bits and bobs but not as much as I'd hoped, the weather was a bit of a let down to be fair, so hopefully next year will be busier! Planning ahead already. It was such a great atmosphere, safe, storytelling oriented and fun.

Anyway, off to have a cuppa and pill, catch you later folks.

Stormy night...

Sitting at the computer listening to the wind howl and the rain lash against the windows...feels like November or something! Still technically summer though so here's hoping it will pass soon, although it rained on St Swithen's day so it is said we will have another 40 days of the same...great! Hoping for at least no wind at the weekend as I am trading at a local festival in my gazebo...not good in a gust.

Anyway folks, hope you are well, I shall go and do some work! X

A lovely - but drunken eve!

That's what last night was, many friends and lots of wine at our local, one of those nights where everyone is on good form. Ended up with just one friend on our sofa - the benefit of living in town and staggering distance of the pub... As a night person I have no problem with staying up past closing time, but the others seem to be a bit ropey right now. Ha!

My meeting with my long-lost friend went very nicely, caught up with the gossip on mutual acquaintances and drank a lot of coffee!

Anyway, must get on with some work, have a good afternoon/evening folks. x

So excitied

Morning all, hope you are well. I am so excited as tomorrow I am meeting up with a friend that I haven't seen for YEARS (17 ish), he was my best mate at school and even though a lot of time has passed, life experiences, kids, travels, we have kept in touch and are still as daft as we were then. Can not wait! Will let you know how it goes.

Looking out of my window at 1.20am as I often do and I was lucky enough to catch the International Space Station flying overhead, beautiful clear night for once and eerily silent, a few minutes later and it is long gone somewhere over the far east - mind-boggling! I do like my night life.
