Well, as predicted on the forecast, after yesterday's sunny spring-like day we now have one of rain...cloud, greyness and rain...and a bit of wind. Spring is teasing us by poking it's head round the proverbial corner every so often, but winter hasn't lost it's grip completely...patience is a virtue!
Anyway, I will be fixed to my computer for most of the weekend so in a way I hope the weather isn't too good, I will want to be outside! I do hope however, that you all have bright shiny weekends - can't have it all I guess.
Take care folks.

I'm back!
Sorry I've been neglecting the blog of late, been busy writing and with business stuff as well as people having birthdays, having to go places, sleeping etc!
As mentioned on the Rehome-a-Book blog, the snowdrops here are amazing, the first glimpse of cheerful flowers indicating spring...we hope! Crocus' will be next adding a splash of colour then we await tree blossom, daffodils, longer days and warmer weather, hopefully dryer weather too as it is raining yet again here today. Regardless, I must go out into it, juggling two bags and a brolly - wish me luck!

Stormy!
Its windy and rainy out there at the moment, quite nice in a 'cosy indoors' kind of way, bit worried about the one kitchen window that doesn't close all the way and is currently as wired shut as we can get it...ah well!
Turning in now, very early for me but I have to get up in the morning, at least if I'm in bed I'll be relaxed, my book will be there if I can't drop off, but hopefully listening to the weather outside will help.
Night.

Eclipse?
Hi all, did anyone catch the partial eclipse this morning? It was way too cloudy here but hopefully some of you around the world saw it! There were some pics on the news so I got a good idea of what it looked like.
Anyway, just popping in, back later!

Oh me legs!
Had to do a lot of walking around today - stunning blue skies, lovely sunset, snow on the ground and a nip in the air - but hard work on the old leg muscles! I aim to sit except maybe to do a bit of ironing and rest accordingly!

Solstice.
I have to admit I didn't stay up to see the eclipse, to be honest we wouldn't have seen much, very foggy this morning with more snow showers. However, the winter solstice has been lovely, the shortest day of the year has been a very busy one! Managed to spend an hour with my folks this afternoon drinking tea whilst looking at a snowy garden though.
I am off out to a friend's house later, will be fed too! Then I'm hoping for a late walk home in the snow, just me and the weather then some telly throughout the night - better make sure we have enough tea bags.
Later folks. x

Cold.

Where does the time go?! Last post was November - my apologies.
Anyway, I have to say that I am enjoying the freezing weather, so pretty, clear skies at night, cosy evenings with the telly, and a fab night in our local on Friday - pint, log fire, snowing outside - perfect! As long as the pipes don't freeze we'll be ok. However, this is all well and good if there is nothing to be done or nowhere to go. You have my sympathies if this is the case, take great care and keep warm wherever you are and go steady!
